Unlock Potential
Case study #2
Philip Morris Polska S.A. and Philip Morris Polska Distribution sp. z o.o. as the first employer in the Dialog Generations programme.
Our client offers jobs to more than 7,000 employees. Four generations at work is a challenge for leaders and team members. Our task was to examine the management of age diversity in this organisation and develop recommendations to improve selected areas.
Our team audited the organisation in six areas:
- age diversity awareness in the organisation,
- recruitment,
- education and development,
- remuneration and recognition,
- health and ergonomics at work,
- preparation for retirement.
The diagnostic audit consisted of three elements: an employee survey, a visit by auditors to the workplace and a survey of the processes and interviews with employees and trade union representatives. The final phase was an analysis of existing age management programmes to assess the employer's level of adaptation to the needs of an age-diverse workforce.
The organisation scored enough points to be certified as an Age Dialog Employer.
The measures taken aimed to support the organisation in age management to strengthen employer branding and show the image of a company that understands the needs of people of different ages and invites such people to work with it. The results of the Generations Dialog process were used in the client's subsequent recruitment campaign.
